In recent months, as part of the Horsham Cycling Forum Group meetings, I’ve met with some other local cyclists and discussed how we can improve cycling in Horsham. One of the initiatives is to map out routes into Horsham town centre, highlighting the best and safest roads, and any potential problems on the route.

National Cycle Network app for your phone
I’ve been searching for cycling routes for a summer cycling trip so I visited the Sustrans website to check out the National Cycle Network. Whilst there, I was pleasantly surprised (!) to find that there is a National Cycle Network app for Android phones and iPhones
Cycling Challenge, 1200 Miles. Done!
Back in January, I set myself a cycling challenge for 2011 as a bit of a motivational tool to get me out on my mountain bike more than usual. I can now report that last weekend the target 1200 miles was completed.
