I read a post about The Role for Surfacing in Rural Areas on the As Easy As Riding A Bike blog. In the article, a better surface for the Downs Link trail is advocated based on its use as a utility route rather than a leisure route. I’m against this. My preference is to keep the route as it is now.

My cycling mojo is back!
At the end of last year, and for the start of 2015, I had a quiet period when I didn’t cycle as much as normal. It’s the middle of the year now and I’m happy to say that my cycling mojo is back!

Fixing a clicking noise on my Trek 7.4 FX bike
I’m very happy with my Trek 7.4 FX and I think it’s a great bike. However, over the last few months it developed a clicking noise as I cycled. Here are the two fixes that worked for me.
My cycling year in review
A review of 2014. Overall, I’ve been on some great cycling trips and my cycling year has been very enjoyable. I’m looking forward to more cycling in 2015!
